Welcome to The Desenberg, a newly renovated event space in the historic Main St. East Building downtown Kalamazoo. Formerly known as the Desenberg building, it was constructed in 1886 and is the last Louis Sullivan building in Michigan.
Its 17-foot-tall exposed beam ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the building's original design and embrace historic features with a modern twist, giving a chic, industrial, yet intimate feel.
The main room can be adjusted to suit the size and aesthetic of all events. Custom lighting allows guests to create the perfect ambiance no matter the time of day or season. The space is outfitted with a glass wall projection system and professional house sound; there are endless possibilities when creating a memorable event.
